The Association of Family Medicine Specialists - Respiratory Group in cooperation with the Center for Family Medicine at the Medical Faculty in Skopje, and with support from the International Primary Care Respiratory Group and the World Health Organization, organizes its Third Symposium with international participation on the topic:
Antibiotics in primary care
“Respiratory tract infections - BELIEFS / EVIDENCE / PRACTICE”
With participation of clinicians from secondary and in-patient care,
closely related to the prescribing of antibiotics.
The Symposium will be held from 17 to 19 November 2017 in the premises of the City Hall Center, Skopje, in honor of the European Antibiotic Awareness Day and the World Antibiotic Awareness Week.
Topics of the Symposium:
- Acute Respiratory Tract infections and their complications
- Antibiotic resistance
- Interventions for rational use of antimicrobials
- Algorithms for treatment with antibiotics in primary and secondary care
- Exacerbations of Chronic Respiratory Diseases
- Most common pathogens and antibiotic treatment of exacerbations
- Round table - from research to practice
We believe that this Symposium will be an outstanding opportunity for presenting national and international experiences in the field of rational antibiotics prescribing for respiratory infections.
